Introduction God led Clara to a seminary with a strong emphasis on missions, no matter in studies, student fellowship, and teachers’ influence, she began to open her heart to the mission field. Since graduation, Clara had served in a very mission-minded church for 8 years where she gained much ministerial experiences that prepared her for the mission journey. After years of waiting, praying, and serving, God finally let her see the needs in Latin America. There were many Chinese and their descendants but only 15 missionaries serving among them. They have to endure cultural shock, language barrier, and problems at work. The Chinese in Ecuador usually have never heard of the gospel; they just spend their days in gambling.
