How to apply to be a CCM Missionary

Full-time Missionary Types

Vocational |
Serving directly in evangelism, church planting, and training

Bi-vocational |
Using their profession as a mean to witness and impact people for Christ
|
Intern |
Those lacking ministerial experiences must serve under a mentor for a term of 2-3 years; they can become missionaries after evaluation.

Supporting |
Assisting missionaries in the field with special skills
|

|
Qualifications
|
Faith and Calling |
- Born again Christian who has been baptized into Christ’s church
- Agree and accept CCM’s statements of faith
- Has a clear calling and burden for missions
- Confirmed and recommended by the sending church
|
Spiritual Maturity and Experience |
- At least 1 year of theological or equivalent training with basic knowledge of the bible and missions
- Personally matured with experiences in leading people to Christ and serving in church
- Willing and capable of working with others in a different culture
|
Relationship with CCM |
- Agree and adopt to CCM’s core values and culture
- Submit to the leadership of CCM and follow the rules
|
Age and Health |
- 21 years old or above
- Physically and emotionally healthy with no bad habits
|

Procedures
|
Steps can be done simultaneously |
- Contact your local CCM office and fill out the preliminary application form.
- CCM will contact the applicant, informing him regarding the detail application process.
- Applicants then fill in the formal application and provide references.
- CCM will contact the sending church in regards to her responsibilities and recommendation letter; the applicant then will become a missionary candidate.
- CCM’s assessing committee will process with the application when all information is collected (application form, reference forms, photos, transcript, church recommendation letter).
- The assessing committee will interview the candidate.
- The candidate will take both medical and psychological tests upon the assessing committee’s approval.
- CCM board or representatives will officially accept the candidate as missionary appointee with the positive result of both tests.
