Macau

Population is about 500,000 with 50% new immigrants from Mainland China working in factories. CCM has three ministries working in Macau, serving among grass root people. It includes working with youth, discipleship training, and counselling. We bring people to Jesus through caring.

Many contract workers and immigrants come to Macau to earn a better living. Most of them work more than 10 hours a day. But the employers are not treating them well, their lives cannot be improved no matter how hard they work. On the other hand, the people in Macau cannot find a job because of these immigrants taking over most jobs. They have to leave for Taiwan and other countries to make a better  living, so many become single parent families which lead to many problems. Missionaries in Macau not only have to care for their spiritual needs, they also have to care for their physical needs.
