Praise became a Christian in her teens. In the 60's, she taught in primary school in Hong Kong and went to Canada to study in Bible college in 1969. She returned to Hong Kong and taught Bible and music in a middle school in 1973. In 2000, she visited Northern Thailand and met students of minority tribes. God put a vision in her heart to minister among these young people. With her training in the Bible and music as well as her experiences in teaching, she found herself well-equipped to serve as a missionary in the Bethel Bible College in Northern Thailand. She served in this college until 2006. Now, she teaches in Phayao Bible College with Thai language.
