June to July 2013

Miss Lydia Kam (Macau)
Her term with Industrial Evangelical Fellowship will be completed soon. Please pray for wisdom from God during her furlough and good vacation time and with family. Pray for a place for her to store her belongings during her absent in Macau.

Jennifer Kwok (Macau)
Pray for her cancer follow-up visits in June. May the Lord bless her with physical and spiritual strength so that she can continue to serve the Lord. Praise Lord that last few months, her mother was emotionally strong enough to join social activities, but lately is depressed and slept very often. Pray that God will grant her strength and take her out from depression. Pray for heavenly wisdom to handle various summer activities and lead other co-workers in preparing student programs in Alliance Center.

Lian Xin Qiao (East Asia)
She needs to teach two classes in June and collects and finishing grading paper in four subjects from three teaching point in by July. Please pray for physical and spiritual health in the busy travel schedule.

"Zien" (N Thailand)
Pray for wisdom to serve in Thai church and a trial Chinese teaching program at an international school. May the Lord lead her ministry direction and grant her language skill so that she can lead others in Thai.

Derek and Sindy Leung (Hong Kong)
From June to August, Derek will start internship with the Industrial Evangelical Fellowship at Macau. In June, he will have a medical review regarding his ear problem. In June, HKIEF will hold a gambling presentation event to encourage local churches to pay more concern to the needs of the gamblers and the families. Pray for the attendants of the event.

Miss Wen Yi Ho (N Thailand)
New school year has started. May the Lord bless the students with growth in knowledge, wisdom and spirit. Pray for them to know God in their young age.

Rev. & Mrs. Santisatitpong (N Thailand)
From June to August , two brothers from HK and USA will serve at Chang Kung Education Center. May the Lord blesses and strengthen their work. In July, short term mission team from Canada and HK will teach a 2-6 weeks English work-shops in the center. May the Lord provide wisdom for preparation works.

Leo & Florence Hung (Local Missionary)
Thank the Lord for His blessing and for your prayers, not only were they adapted to the local ministry but also having good time with their co-workers. Please remember their nonbeliever family members and spiritual strength to serve the Lord.

Matthew and Maple (East Asia)
Thank the Lord for blessing them with more serving opportunities. They finished training in the Northern and Southern East area. May the Lord bless His work. They will be on furlough for the second half of this year. Please remember their schedule in your prayer.

Donkey (East Asia)
Thank God for providing him with family and coworkers to support and encouragement him during sickness. He feels better after medication for a month but will be going on new medication for better result. Please pray for emotional calmness and recovery speed.

Song Shi (East Asia)
Thank God for the completion of teaching and school management duty of the first semester. Pray that God will provide wisdom and strength for teaching and student counseling. Pray that his brothers will know God.

Channel (East Asia)
His father had finished liver invasive surgery. Please pray for his recovery. Please remember unity among local co-workers.

Lynn Zhong (East Asia)
Pray that coworkers and youth leaders can use their spiritual gifts to build up each other so that they become one in love and a mission minded team. Please pray that the monthly leadership training can strengthen their spiritual lives.

Xiao Yun & Xiao Ji (East Asia)
Being first time to the field, please pray for the leading of Holy Spirit, wisdom from the Father and a humble heart to follow Him. Please remember their adjustment to the weather, life style, culture and co-workers.

Xiao Na (South Korea)
The second half of June is vacation for foreign students. Pray that they will have a good rest during the school break. Also pray for good relationship and communication with them.

Judi Chow (CCMI Coordinator)
Lately she has been physically tired and in need of more rest. In August, she will return to USA for furlough. Please pray for her health and safety. Her nephew Bryant is facing cancer treatment and is in the midst of chemotherapy. Please remember him in your prayer.

Li Miu Yu (Macau)
Please pray for her recovery after thyroid removal surgery. The field has established Cross Cultural Mission Resource Corner to encourage Christian to share gospel to other ethnic groups.

Clara Chan (Ecuador)
Pray for having enough physical rest and a balanced life style in the midst of busy ministries. Short term mission team from Costa Rica finished in May. May the Lord strengthen His work.

Brian & Gloria Cheng (Ecuador)
Pray for physical and spiritual health in the midst of busy ministries. The current church building is insufficient for use. May the Lord prepare place for His work.

Stone & Yuk Lee (Thailand)
Our daughter, Cheng Cheng is in high school now. Layman missionary, Lester, arrived in Surat Thani to have a mission exploratory trip. Please pray for his adjustment.

Gary & Serah Chan (Missionary in Southern Pacific Islands)
Three months ministry in Noumea is about to complete. May the Lord strengthen the bodies in Christ. Let them be unified, encouraged, be good witness for the Lord and share others' burden.

Belize Mission Field
Please pray for the 6/29 to 7/9 and also 8/2 to 8/12 STM team. May the Lord prepare and open the hearts on the local Chinese so that they can hear the Good News and know Jesus. Pray that our Lord will confirm and protect the hearts of those who are willing to serve short term or long term in Belize.

Venezuela Mission Field
Pray that God will strengthen the spiritual lives of brothers and sisters in Venezuela in the midst of political instability. May the Lord open the hearts of the local Chinese so that they can hear the Good News and know Jesus.

Costa Rica Mission Field
Pray for God to open the hearts of the young Chinese immigrants to Costa Rica so that they can hear and accept the gospel. May God use San Jose Chinese Gospel Church as a gospel channel to reach out to new immigrants. Please continue to pray for pastor Alejiandro Lin during his cancer treatment and bless pastor Leonming Sit with abundant Grace. Pray that the July STM team will have harmony time together with the local church.

Foreign Mission Department
In June and July, there will be STM teams to Belize, and Costa Rica. Please pray for their safety and the unity of the team.　　
From 7/8 - 7/13 CCM and Great Commission Center will host Cross-culture Mission Preparation Camp. Many speakers will arrive CCM headquarter. Please pray for the camp. May the Lord calls for His missionaries.
